How much does registration cost? Registration rates, policies, and procedures vary by registration type. Please visit the Registration page on the Symposium website for current pricing and full details.

Can my family attend with me? Yes! Family members are welcome to join you at the Symposium for an additional cost. All adult and child guest pricing is listed directly on the Registration page.

Is there a virtual attendance option? Not at this time. International attendees or federal partners with travel restrictions who are interested in a virtual option should email nikki@bibberoevents.com. If there is sufficient interest from these groups, ASCLD will explore a virtual option and follow up directly.

What airport should I fly into? Fly into Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR). Additional travel details and ground transportation can be found on the Travel page of the Symposium website.

Are discounted flight rates available? Yes. Discounted flight options are available and listed on the Travel page of the Symposium website.

Are discounted hotel rates available? Yes. ASCLD has secured discounted hotel rates at the prevailing government per diem rates. Visit the Travel page on the Symposium website to view available hotels.

Is parking available? Yes. Parking is available at both DeVos Place Convention Center and Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. Discounted parking rate will be available on the Travel tab later this spring. ​

Where is the event located? Most sessions will take place at the DeVos Place Convention Center. Select events and sessions will be held at Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. Exact session locations will be listed in the mobile app, available to registered attendees starting in May.

Where do I check in? Check-in will be located at DeVos Place Convention Center, beginning at 7:00 AM on Sunday. The exact check-in location will be listed in the mobile app.​

Do I need to wear my badge? Yes. Your badge is required for entry into all event spaces and should be worn at all times.

If I lose my badge, can I get a replacement? Yes. If your badge is lost or damaged, please visit the Registration Desk for assistance.

How do I access Wi-Fi? Wi-Fi, sponsored by Forensic Management Strategies, will be posted on signage throughout the event spaces.

I found an item. Where is Lost & Found? Lost and found items can be turned in to or claimed at the Registration Desk.

Who should I contact onsite if I need assistance? Visit the registration desk and ask for the event planner, Nikki, or a member of her team, Jean or Ramona. We're happy to help!

Where can I find the program and schedule? The full agenda is available on the Agenda tab of the Symposium website and will also be accessible in the mobile app starting in May. Please note: There will be no printed onsite program guide. ​

Will session presentations be available after the conference? Select session materials will be available in the mobile app for 30 days post-conference, provided the speaker has approved them for sharing.

How can I see who else is attending and connect ahead of time? You'll be able to view attendees and connect with them through the mobile app, starting in May. ​

Is there a tutorial for the mobile app? Yes. A live-streamed mobile app tutorial will take place in May prior to the conference. Details will be shared with registered attendees.

Do I need to attend every session? yes and no. You'll get the most value by fully participating, but we encourage you to choose sessions that best align with your interests and pace yourself throughout the week.

What meals are included with my registration? Meals and breaks vary by registration type:

All breakfasts are full buffets. All lunches are boxed lunches or full buffets. All receptions will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres and/or food stations

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies? Yes. We accommodate the following dietary needs: gluten-free, dairy-free, nut allergies, shellfish allergies, vegetarian, vegan, kosher, halal. Please note your dietary restriction during registration and notify a server at the convention center upon arrival - they'll direct you to allergy-friendly meals that have been set aside specifically for guests with special needs. If you have a true food allergy not listed above (not a preference such as keto), there is also a place to note that during registration.

Is Paws for a Break coming back this year? Yes - and it's bigger and better! In addition to puppy cuddles while sipping a fancy latte, this year's experience will also include wellness activities, a professional headshot station, lounge and recharge spaces, work areas, and more.

Are there evening events? Yes! Evening receptions and networking opportunities are listed on the Special Events page of the Symposium website.

Are there discounts for local attractions while I'm in Grand Rapids? Yes! Discounted Grand Rapids attraction passes are available for purchase through your conference registration.

What should I wear? Most attendee dress in business or business-casual attire.
