2025 HAPPENINGS
ASCLD strives to continually bring you new ideas and best practices to the Symposium, to allow for a greater conference experience for attendees and exhibitors, and a streamlined planning process for the leadership team. This year, some of the key changes to know before you go are:

NEW in 2025:
-
IMPORTANT! The 2025 Symposium will occur over a weekend, with pre-conference workshops and Leadership Academy taking place on Friday and Saturday, and the Symposium Sunday through Tuesday. This is a one-time, Covid-19 related change. The Symposium will be back to it's traditional pattern in 2026.
-
The agenda will not be created until mid-way through December, approximately six weeks after registration has opened
-
Childcare services will be offered for those that need to travel with their families
-
Group discounts on United and Southwest Airlines will be available for attendees traveling to Denver for the Symposium. See the Hotel and Travel page for details.
-
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday mornings will now begin at 7:30 AM instead of 7:00 AM
-
Abstract submissions have been broken into two groups. For more information, please visit the Abstract Submissions page.
-
A bulletin board will be available in the Paws for a Break networking lounge where any attendees may post fliers, job notices, resumes, or other information they wish to share with fellow participants
-
Gender neutral restrooms can be found on the fourth floor of the convention space

Back For Year 2:
-
Three simultaneous breakout tracks will be offered throughout the week, instead of one continuous general session
-
A second reception has been added in the exhibit hall Wednesday afternoon, immediately following the business meeting
-
A Corporate Social Responsibility give-back program has been added
-
Pre-conference local area excursions have been added
-
Leadership Academy Level III has been added
-
If you are not making payment at the time of registration, your personal credit card information will be kept on file. This card will only be charged if you do not provide payment via a different method by the conclusion of the event.
-
Attendees will only be permitted to make one hotel reservation. You will not be able to book a hotel room for multiple members of your team and change the names at a later date.
-
Only Symposium attendees will be permitted to make hotel reservations. Individuals coming for CFFLD, ASCIA, or other affiliate programs that do not stay for the Symposium will not be able to book in the hotel room block.
-
Hotel reservations will be made on your behalf, via information you provide during the registration process

Many other additional touches have been added to the event that we look forward to sharing with you upon arrival to Denver, Colorado!
